Panning is another way of looking at the desired view. It is applicable in two ways – Zooming in and Zooming out. Zooming provides an option to the user to change the view of a document or image. What is the difference between pan and zoom? Position the cursor at the start location and press the left mouse button down. Shifts the view without changing the viewing direction or magnification. You can name a specific view so that returning to it is easy. Every time you zoom or pan, you establish a new view. Both panning and zooming change the view - the current location and magnification of the AutoCAD depiction of the drawing. AutoCAD makes panning easy, by offering scroll bars and real-time panning.
